transportation or penal servitude and provides that imprisonment with hard labor for a term of the same duration as the term of transportation penal servitude shall be inflicted in lieu thereof. Section 2 provides that all persons now detained under any sentence of penal servitude shall be deemed to have been sentenced to imprisonment with hard labour and shall be classed accordingly.
Section 3 repeals Ordinance 10 of 1858 entitled an Ordinance for Penal Servitude.
